Managing Partner of ALARIUS Bar Association Viktor Surnik attended the Round Table “CRIMES AGAINST THE FOUNDATIONS OF NATIONAL SECURITY. TOPICAL ISSUES AND JUDICIAL PRACTICE”

On June 26, 2024, Managing Partner of ALARIUS Bar Association Viktor Surnyk had the opportunity to attend the Round Table “CRIMES AGAINST THE FOUNDATIONS OF NATIONAL SECURITY. TOPICAL ISSUES AND JUDICIAL PRACTICE.”

Participants raised the following discussion questions:

• Legislative initiatives to prevent crimes against the foundations of national security

• New practice of the Supreme Court on crimes provided for in Section 1 of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

• Imperfection of the legislative regulation of criminal liability for crimes against the foundations of national security and solutions: practical and law-making aspects

• New articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: practical notes on law enforcement

• Unauthorized dissemination of militarily significant information: qualification, responsibility, judicial practice

• Extension of the term of the precautionary measure on the basis of part 5 of Article 615 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

• What is collaborative activity: Ukrainian approaches and foreign experience

• Further development of legislation on liability for crimes against the foundations of national security
