Viktor Surnyk

Surnik Viktor is managing partner of Alarius Attorneys at law, head of dispute resolution and real estate and construction practice, lawyer.

His expertise is strengthened by deep professional knowledge and experience in the field of business restructuring and optimization of corporate structure of enterprises, in the field of corporate governance, compliance, bankruptcy, taxation, protection of persons in criminal proceedings and representation of victims.

Victor accompanies clients in the dispute resolution process, achieving effective results both through pre-trial procedures and at any judicial stage, from the first instance to the final execution of court decisions. Legal positions that were projected by the team of Alarius Attorneys at Law under the leadership of Viktor Surnik have repeatedly formed a precedent practice in the Ukrainian cassation instance

His competence includes the implementation of projects in the field of legal audit (due diligence) of real estate objects, land plots and real estate rights, acquisition and sale of real estate, tax and corporate structuring of real estate projects, structuring and support of all transactions with assets, development and approval of transactions documents, registration of ownership and use of land plots, advice on coordination and obtaining building permits.

Victor Surnyk provides support to foreign and Ukrainian clients, in particular investors, developers, other real estate market operators, as well as, within the framework of ProBono legal assistance, advises a number of charitable foundations.

Since 2015, Victor has been a Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty “administrative law and process; financial law; information law”. He holds two master's degrees - LLM from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Master of Foreign Policy from the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Victor Surnyk also received higher education in economics at Khmelnytsky National University.

In 2017, he received a certificate of the right to practice law.
