Thanks to our attorneys' effective strategy, the Kyiv Commercial Court ruled to recover in favour of the client a debt of UAH 12 million and dismissed the counterclaim to invalidate certain clauses of the agreement under which the debt arose.
The obligation originated from a third-party binding agreement, which stipulates that the plaintiff (the client's company) undertook to transfer funds instead of the defendant to a third party. However, after the plaintiff fulfilled its obligations, the defendant refused to perform theirs.
